- You pay monthly for a plan, can cancel whenever you like, and keep your station until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
- Your music and shows stay yours. You’re responsible for having the licences to broadcast them.
- Don’t use Wrencast for anything illegal, hateful or harmful, or in a way that disrupts other stations.
- We work hard to keep your station on air, but can’t promise it will never be interrupted. Keep your own copies of your music.
5. Your content and music licences
Everything you upload or broadcast — music, recordings, artwork, podcasts, your station’s name and branding — stays yours.
You give us permission to store, copy, convert, stream and display it, only as needed to run your station and the service: playing it to your listeners, showing it on your station page and in the directory if you list your station, publishing podcast feeds you create, and keeping backups. This permission ends when your content is deleted, apart from copies in backups until they expire.
You are responsible for having every licence and permission needed to broadcast your content in the countries you broadcast to — for example from PRS for Music and PPL in the UK, or SoundExchange, ASCAP, BMI and SESAC in the US. We host your station; we don’t hold broadcasting licences on your behalf.
If someone tells us your content infringes their rights, we may remove it or take your station off air while we look into it, and we may share your contact details with them where the law requires.
